FORMS OF DURATION
long-durational Lecture Performance

In this lecture performance, text, sound, and time encounter one another, interweaving into a performative lecture. The starting point is an essay on the perception of time, read live on stage. In parallel, recordings of the same text are played back at varying speeds. The focus gradually shifts from linguistic meaning to sonic experience, and the lecture increasingly transforms into a performance.

The work explores how duration, slowing down and repetition can influence our perception of time, inviting the audience to engage individually with this altered sense of temporality.
